The latest addition to realme’s C series, the realme C75, is a tough and durable smartphone offered at an affordable price. But beyond its rugged build quality, what else does this device bring to the table?
Let’s find out!
Affordable smartphones typically feature plastic back panels, but not this time. At first touch, the realme C75 immediately stands out with its sturdy build quality. It doesn’t look or feel like a rugged phone, yet its solid construction is evident. Weighing 196g and measuring 8mm in thickness, it has a bit of heft, but we never found it uncomfortable to hold or use for extended periods.
Regarding the frame, the power and volume buttons are located on the right side, while the SIM tray is positioned on the left. The bottom houses a speaker grille, a microphone, and a USB-C port for charging.
Since this is a rugged smartphone, let’s discuss its durability. The realme C75 is the first device to receive the ‘Rugged Smartphone Certificate’ from TÜV Rheinland and boasts an IP69 rating—the highest available.
Additionally, it features MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance, ensuring protection against harsh conditions. The device also includes a unique SonicWave Water Ejection system, which uses the speakers to vibrate and expel water from the chassis.
The realme C75 sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. For added durability, the display is protected by ArmorShell Glass. The screen offers decent details and sharpness, but outdoor visibility is limited due to its peak brightness of 580 nits.
However, for daily use, it provides good viewing angles and resilience against accidental drops.
The realme C75 is equipped with a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and an unspecified secondary sensor. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout.

For its price, the rear camera delivers impressive results with decent vibrancy and well-balanced colors. Details are sharp, but exposure can be inconsistent. Low-light photography, however, results in grainy and soft images, though color reproduction remains acceptable for a budget device.
The 8MP selfie camera performs well outdoors, producing decent sharpness and true-to-life skin tones. However, in indoor settings, selfies tend to appear softer with slightly reduced detail.

When it comes to video recording, both the front and rear cameras can shoot at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30FPS.
Under the hood, the realme C75 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G92 Max processor. Our review unit featured 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 16GB via RAM expansion) and 256GB of storage. In everyday use, the device offers a responsive experience, though occasional stutters occur when navigating the interface.
For gaming, it handles lighter competitive titles like Mobile Legends well. However, heavier games push the device to its limits, resulting in performance struggles. While not designed for gaming, it still delivers a decent experience for casual players.
Benchmark Results
The realme C75 is backed by a massive 6000mAh battery, complemented by 45W wired charging. In our video loop test, the phone lasted approximately 16 hours and 45 minutes.
Charging from 0% to 100% took around 1 hour and 20 minutes, which is quite reasonable given the large battery capacity.
The realme C75 comes in two variants:
Would we recommend it? Yes, but for a specific audience. Most users prioritize raw performance or camera capabilities when selecting a smartphone. However, if you need an affordable secondary device that can withstand various activities and don’t mind the lack of 5G connectivity, the realme C75 is a solid choice.
