WIKO, a French tech company, has just expanded into the Philippine market with the launch of a new budget smartphone called the WIKO 10.
The WIKO 10 aims to provide all you need without costing more than ₱10,000. This vehicle’s technical specifications are adequate, if not superior, to those of a practical daily driver.
To begin with, the device has a massive 6.74-inch IPS display that is gently curved for an upscale appearance. While the HD+ resolution may be disappointing, it’s understandable, given the price.
The front-facing 8-megapixel camera is located in a tiny waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The primary camera is 50 megapixels in resolution, while the secondary and third cameras are each 2 megapixels.
It has the latest MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core CPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, all of which are necessary for storing the high-quality photographs you’ll be shooting.
The WIKO 10 has a 5,000mAh battery and a 22.5W WIKO SuperCharge, similar to other phones in its price range. Android 12 is in charge of the software. Another safety feature is a fingerprint scanner that functions as a lock and power button.
Both the 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB WIKO 10 variants cost ₱7,999 and ₱8,999, respectively. It will be available on September 29 in shops around the country and on Shopee and Lazada— two popular e-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia.
