People have noticed that WhatsApp is adding a new switch for the newly added instant video message feature. Last month, the platform for sending texts got the ability to record and send real-time video messages.
Users can send a short video of up to 60 seconds. This feature is turned on by default in the app’s settings. But the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS is said to have added a new switch to the app’s settings that will give users more power.
According to a report by WhatsApp development tracker WABetaInfo, the instant video messaging tool in WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.18.1.70 and WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.21 has gotten a new toggle.

Users can turn on or off the feature by going to the app’s settings and choosing to send voice notes instead. But users will still get video texts even if they turn off the feature on their phones.
Users can get the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android from the Google Play Store and the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS from the TestFlight app. It is said to be coming to more people in the next few days.
These texts are also encrypted from start to finish. By default, when the videos are sent, they play without music. Users must tap the video again to turn on the sound for the video message. WhatsApp already lets you send pictures or videos you’ve already made as files to text messages.
