Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y launched in the Philippines, starts at PHP 2,109,000

Tesla has officially entered the Philippine market with the launch of the Tesla Model 3 and the Tesla Model Y electric vehicles in the Philippines. The company opened its first Tesla Experience Center at Uptown Bonifacio in Taguig.

Tesla Model 3 and Model Y now in PH!

The Tesla Model 3 is an electric sedan boasting a range of up to 629 kilometers per charge (WLTP) and can go from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds. It also comes with a new appearance optimized for optimal aerodynamics and has a quieter cabin with 360-degree acoustic glass.

The Long-range variant has up to 533 km of maximum range. Users can also customize the Model 3, additional price is added, ranging from exterior colors, wheel design, to interior colors.

Additionally, it comes equipped with basic autopilot with features including autosteer and traffic-aware cruise control. Users can add up to PHP 384,000 for a full self-driving capability.

Tesla Model Y 1

The Tesla Model Y, on the other hand, is a mid-size SUV boasting up to 533km range (WLTP), and up to 2,158 liters of cargo space. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.

It also has basic autopilot just like the Tesla Model 3. Users can opt for up to full self-driving capability by adding PHP 394,000.

The Model Y can also be customized based on the user’s preference. Prices may vary depending on the customization.

Tesla Model 3:

  • Rear-wheel drive – PHP 2,109,000
  • Long range – PHP 2,489,000
  • Performance – PHP 3,099,000

Tesla Model Y:

  • Rear-wheel drive – PHP 2,369,000
  • Long Range – PHP 2,689,000
  • Performance – PHP 3,299,000

Interested buyers must place a PHP 15,000 non-refundable deposit to secure an order. The Tesla Model 3 is also available for loan starting at PHP 36,553/month, while the Tesla Model Y starts at PHP 41,005/month.

The delivery of the first set of Tesla cars is expected in the second quarter of next year.

Addittionally, Tesla also introduced its supercharger station at Uptown Mall. Supercharging is available at P19/ kwh which is around PHP 1,140 to fully charge a Tesla Model 3. More charging station will arrive soon, according to Tesla.
