Galaxy A21s Launched with Exynos 850

After launching the Galaxy A21 last month, Samsung immediately follows it up with the upgraded version of the budget phone — dubbed as Galaxy A21s. The new handset debuts the new Exynos 850 chipset along with the Galaxy A51-like camera module and a large 5000mAh battery for a price of €200(~P10,800). The A21s will become available in Europe on June 19, with the UK getting it for £179(~P10,800). The colors come in Black, White, and Blue.

Let’s start first with the new chipset. The Exynos 850 features eight cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It seems to be clustered into two for a 4×4 orientation, but we’re not entirely sure yet how each cluster works. What we can say is that the performance shouldn’t be a massive leap compared to the unnamed chipset of the Galaxy A21, given the price point. On top of that, the Galaxy A21s supports 3GB RAM up to 6GB which can be paired with either 32GB or 64GB internal storage. Compared to the Galaxy A21, you now have a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. We have yet to confirm whether it’s through USB-C or micro USB. The camera gets upgraded, too, from 16MP quad-cam to 48MP quad-cam, featuring 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth.

There’s no word yet regarding availability in the Philippines, but we will keep you posted once we receive information.
