Redmi launched last February its RedmiBook Pro with a 14 and 15-inches display. These laptops were equipped with Intel processors. Now, the company is releasing a Ryzen Edition for its RedmiBook Pro 14/15-inches laptop.
Duly note that the Ryzen Edition laptops will be featuring almost similar to their original counterpart. But before we name the minor difference, let us first look at the major ones. As it is obvious with the name, these RedmiBook Pro laptops will be using Ryzen processors. The 14-inch model will be equipped with either an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U. While the 15-inch will be featuring also two AMD processors namely the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and AMD Ryzen 7 5800H.
As for other differences from its original model is that it will not be coming with a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C. Also, one of the two USB Type-C ports will support video output. The prices for the Ryzen Edition models differ on what processor you would choose. The 14-inch model with the AMD Ryzen 5 5500U will cost 4,299 Yuan (₱32,390 est.) while the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U version will come at 4,699 Yuan (₱35,400 est.). On the other hand, the 15-inch model with AMD Ryzen 5 5600H chipset will cost 4,799 Yuan (₱36,155 est.) and the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H variant will have a price tag of 5,299 Yuan (₱39,925 est.).
