Realme has now launched its Realme Watch 2 smartwatch in Malaysia. This has a similar look to the Apple Watch as it sports a square design. This smartwatch will be the successor to Realme’s first smartwatch that was launched last year.
When it comes to its specifications, the Realme Watch 2 sports a 1.4-inch touchscreen IPS LCD, offering 320 x 320 pixels. You can customize its face as it offers at least 100 cool watch faces to choose from including a new live watch face. On its right-hand side, it has a single button for capacitive functions while it weighs about 38g. It already has IP68 water/dust resistant certification meaning you don’t have to worry about getting the smartwatch wet through your workouts.
On the software side, the smartwatch supports 90 sports modes which is a total upgrade from the previous model that has 14 sports modes. Included in the sports modes are as follows: outdoor walking, indoor walking, basketball, yoga, outdoor running, indoor running, dynamic cycling, hiking, cricket, rowing, strength training, and an elliptical machine. Other features also include sleep and stress tracking, heart rate, and SpO2 monitors. Onboard this smartwatch, it has Smart AIoT which lets the user control several Realme smart devices and appliances using the Watch 2.
The battery capacity for this smartwatch is about 315mAh which lets you use it for 12 days with only a single charge. Also, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is included.
The Realme Watch 2 will be priced at MYR 229 (₱2,685 est.). As of now, there is no news on when will it be available in the market.
