Chinese brand Honor just launched non-smartphones recently. This includes the Honor Pad 8, one of the company’s newest tablets.
Despite its mid-range processor, the Honor Pad 8 boasts an enormous screen. Honor Pad 8 also comes with Snapdragon 680 from Qualcomm, which is immensely powerful. At least for now, it doesn’t have a 4G LTE cellular version.
The front of the tablet features a 12-inch screen with a 2000 x 1200, which large size provides you with more space for school or work. This display is not the sharpest at 194 pixels per inch.
In addition to the screen, there is a front-facing camera with a 5-megapixel resolution. The user can maximize the split screen feature with over 6,000 apps compatible with Honor’s Magic UI 6.1.
Multitasking is also improved with floating windows. In addition, select Honor smartphones can mirror their screens, so you don’t have to hold two devices simultaneously and can transfer files quickly between them.
Honor Pad 8 has a similar 5-megapixel sensor at the back with a clean design. It is also powered by a compact 7,250mAh battery that is rechargeable with a USB Type-C 22.5W charger. Despite that, the device has a thinness of just 6.9mm. Very attractive indeed!
