vivo’s X300 series is now official, and it’s already generating a wave of excitement.
Today, we’re taking a closer look at the vivo X300, a compact flagship that brings notable upgrades over its predecessor.
But the question is, is it worth the price? Let’s find out.
The vivo X300 features a clean and premium aesthetic. Its flat aluminum frame feels sturdy in the hand, while the frosted glass back delivers a soft, smooth finish, though it can be a bit slippery without a case.

The centered, rounded camera module has soft edges, adding to its sleek overall look.
The device also carries an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, making it both stylish and durable.

In terms of dimensions, the X300 is a compact smartphone. It weighs 190 grams and measures 8mm thick, offering a comfortable feel even during long hours of use.
Around the frame, you’ll find the power button and volume rocker on the right side. Up top is a speaker grille and an IR blaster, while the bottom houses another speaker grille, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM tray.

Design-wise, the vivo X300 is a device that balances premium looks and durability. The only drawback is its slightly slippery back, but the included case easily solves that.
On the front, the vivo X300 sports a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1216 × 2540 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an impressive 4500-nit peak brightness.

Its compact size makes one-handed use easy, while the display itself produces smooth animations and vibrant colors, great for multimedia and daily use.

After using it for an extended period, our experience has been consistently excellent, which is expected from a flagship device.

For cameras, the vivo X300 is equipped with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 200MP OIS main shooter, a 50MP OIS telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Up front, the punch-hole module houses a 50MP selfie camera.
Rear Camera Sample
The main cameras produce detailed images without heavy processing, offering good sharpness and clarity. Indoor shots remain crisp with strong detail, and HDR performance is reliable with no crushed blacks or overly dark shadows.

Lowlight Sample

Selfie quality is equally impressive. The 50MP front camera delivers natural-looking skin tones, excellent detail, and strong low-light performance. Subject-background separation is also handled well.
For video, the rear camera can record up to 4K at 120FPS without stabilization and up to 2.8K at 60FPS with ultra stabilization. The front camera also supports up to 4K at 60FPS.

Powering the device is MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9500 chip. It runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Our review unit features 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. vivo promises up to five major Android upgrades and seven years of security patches, which is a strong commitment for long-term use.
Performance is excellent across the board. Whether for entertainment or productivity, the X300 handled everything smoothly with zero slowdowns.

Multitasking was seamless, and gaming, especially titles like Zenless Zone Zero, ran consistently well with no frame drops or stutters.

The phone is powered by a substantial 6040mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

In our video loop test, it lasted around 19 hours and 31 minutes, solid endurance for a flagship. Charging from 0 to 100% took approximately 46 minutes.

The vivo X300 is priced at PHP 67,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant.
Overall, vivo has delivered a flagship device with virtually no compromises.
It offers stellar camera performance, a premium minimalist design, strong battery life, and top-tier internals. While the price may not be accessible to everyone, it competes strongly with other flagship models on the market.
Its compact size may be a deal breaker for some, but for others, myself included, it stands out as one of its best features. If you’re in the market for a new flagship smartphone, the vivo X300 is definitely worth considering.
