Through the System Interconnectivity Project, MMDA and LTO are striving for real-time access to information sharing between their agencies, and they will achieve this together.

As part of the initiative to share data, data points will be provided on drivers and owners of vehicles who might have registered a violation in real-time.

On June 29, 2022 MMDA Chairman Atty. LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Romando S. Artes and LTO Executive Director Edgar C. Galvante signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the System Interconnectivity Project.

By implementing this project, the MMDA will be able to use the LTMS Portal regularly. A No Contact Apprehension System (NCAP) will allow the Agency to identify motorists and vehicles and notify them that they have been tagged in the program.

As for the LTO, they will be able to access the database of the MMDA. This database contains information on the traffic apprehensions and alarms associated with drivers and vehicles.

As the NCAP program is being rolled out in various areas across the Metro, this information is becoming more and more valuable, and instant access to it makes it even more helpful.

There is no doubt that the success of the System Interconnectivity Project was through the cooperation between both the MMDA and LTO.

Since more and more people are becoming licensed motorists, both the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Highway Safety need your help if they are to be able to maintain a streamlined and law-abiding operation for everyone involved.

You can find out how much it might have cost you if you get tagged for any traffic violations by visiting this page. As much as the police do their job in upholding the law, we as motorists must help them by driving lawfully, with discipline, and with a good sense of propriety on the road.
