The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is expected to be released this year by Nintendo. Now, the video game giant announced that they would release a special edition of Nintendo Switch OLED before its release.

Officially dubbed, Nintendo Switch OLED Model – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This special edition will come with aesthetics that Zelda fans will surely love! This comes with a Hylian Crest on the Dock, while its JoyCons will feature a “Sheikah” art through geometric patterns. It also showcases gold and green color palettes.

Remember, the base game is not included in pre-ordering this edition. You still need to pre-order the game separately.

Players expect to purchase this limited edition Nintendo Switch on April 28. The price range starts at $359.99.

It expected that the game will launch on May 12. Players can also anticipate these two accessories upon launch. Tears of the Kingdom highly influenced the accessories’ aesthetics. These will be the Nintendo Switch Pro controller and a Switch carrying case. Prices begin at $74.99 and $24.99, respectively.

As of today, you can already pre-order The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, the special edition Nintendo Switch console, and the two themed accessories.

It is best to head to your local retailers and inquire about the pre-orders. DataBlitz and GameXtreme are the only two local stores available for a pre-order with a PHP 500 downpayment.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is expected to be released on May 12, 2023. This will be a direct follow-up to the much-praised Breath of the Wild and is expected to be available only on Nintendo Switch consoles.
