GChat introduced in #GCashFutureCast Event

GCash FutureCast Event GChat

A new feature for GCash has been recently launched. This is the GChat feature, among other features introduced during the #GCashFutureCast Event in the Philippines.

GCash GChat showcases an easier method for its users to chat with friends and family, operate business transactions, send receipts quickly, and an easier way for tracing previous transactions. This helps GCash users from taking screenshots of their proof of transactions.

GCash showed that this new feature helps users search for conversations with friends, family, business owners, and customers.

Simultaneously, Gigi and Advisories will launch with the new feature. These features will assist the user when asking for help anywhere and anytime.

In an interview with GCash Chief Executive Officer Martha Sazon, she stated that as a national champion for financial inclusion, they are eager to help every Filipino, whoever and wherever they are. During the firm’s Futurecast event in Makati, she continued stating, “there’s just so much more that we need to do and we can do, especially for the underserved, all towards making Filipinos’ everyday lives better.”

GCash will roll out the new GChat feature in their app for the next few months. The e-wallet app also introduced many new global features like GCash Global Pay, GCash Card, and GCash Overseas. They also officially launched their GStocks PH with AB Capital Securities Inc., GCrypto, and GInsure Online Shopping Protect. DoubleSafe is also introduced as its new security feature.

GCash is one of the leading finance apps in the Philippines, with over 79 million registered users. The finance app is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Inc.) and a turn partnership between Globe Telecom Inc., Ayala Corp., and Ant Financial.
