This year’s iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 14 Plus competition is brand-new since Apple is replacing the smaller iPhone mini size with the bigger Max. And that can have a significant influence on your purchasing choice.
The mid-sized iPhone 14 regular is the same as the one you’re undoubtedly already accustomed to. The iPhone 14 Plus, on the other hand, will provide a less expensive means of obtaining the size of the iPhone 14 Pro Max without having to pay for its advanced features, such as an upgraded display or camera array. This year, it appears like there is a very significant difference between the iPhone 14 Pro and non-Pro iPhones, but if all you want is the biggest screen and battery size available, the Max could be perfect for you.
We’re interested in seeing how the iPhone 14 Plus may create a rich new market of prospective customers. However, for the time being, we may compare the smaller iPhone 14 with the bigger iPhone 14 Plus.

DESIGN & DISPLAY
The major difference between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is size: the smaller iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch display, while the bigger iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch display. The iPhone 14 thus weighs little more than 6 ounces, while the iPhone 14 Max touches the scales at slightly more than 7 ounces.
Apart from that, though, there are a few physical differences between the two phones; they both mimic the design and dimensions of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max that came before them.
The iPhone versions had glossy backs and metal frames. The iPhone 14 and 14 Max also include the Lightning connector for charging and are IP68 water and dust-proof, much as the prior generation of iPhones (probably for the last time on iPhones).
The notch will still be there but will be 25% less than the iPhone 12 in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus because they maintain the same design as the iPhone 13 series. The complete notch has been eliminated from the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max in favor of a pill-shaped cutout for Face ID and the front camera.
The Pro Motion display feature, which Apple has once again reserved for the Pros, is not available on the phones. Instead, they use 60Hz, which is outdated for most phones but won’t be apparent if you’re switching from an iPhone other than a 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max.
The color options for both phones are the same. Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Purple, and Product Red are those colors.
SPECS & PERFORMANCE
The 2021 A15 Bionic processor was used to power the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Apple made the decision to exclusively use the new A16 Bionic technology in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have the same processor, which results in equal power consumption, but both devices have an additional GPU core and better cooling compared to the iPhone 13, giving them a minor performance boost.
Hopefully, you’ll never need to automatically notify someone you’ve been in a car accident or have gotten lost somewhere in the wilderness, but either of these phones will help you with that. Apple also gave both phones the same new safety features – Crash Detection and satellite-powered Emergency SOS. What about available storage? There are capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB available on both phones.
CAMERA
The cameras in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are similar. There are two 12MP cameras on the back that are used for both primary and ultrawide purposes, while a third 12MP camera is located on the front for selfie reasons. The Photonic Engine is one new function you won’t find on earlier iPhone models. This is the fancy moniker Apple has given to a new image processing pipeline that aims to produce better low-light images.
BATTERY
The distinction between the two phones really stands out at this point. The iPhone 14 Plus outperforms the iPhone 14 in terms of battery life, living up to its name and beyond it. The iPhone 13 Pro Max performed admirably thanks to its big battery and body. Based on that, we anticipate that the big iPhone 14 Plus will perform admirably in our unique battery test and make our list of smartphones with the best battery life.
CONCLUSION
The iPhone 14 Pros’ 48MP camera, Pro Motion display, and the always-on display may be some of Apple’s greatest features. However, given the higher price increase, many consumers may choose the ordinary iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The sizes, battery capacities, and prices of the iPhone 14 and 14 Max vary despite the fact that they are relatively identical. If the iPhone 14 Plus isn’t all that superior to the ordinary iPhone 14, then the smaller device will still provide the best value for your money by providing a big-screen iPhone experience for less money than the Pro Max. The iPhone 14 is available for the price of Php56,990 with the minimum storage while the iPhone 14 Plus costs Php63,990 with the minimum storage.
I am very much impressed with the new iPhone 14. I am all set to buy the phone in nearby days. The only doubt before was whether to go for 14 or 14 plus. I am getting now the plus for 4199 SAR from Xcite . So no doubt I am going to upgrade my phone to 14 plus
