Infinix GT 50 Pro Gaming Review

Infinix GT 50 Pro Gaming Review

Recently, we released our Infinix GT 50 Pro full review, where we tested its display, performance, battery life, and camera capabilities.

There, we mentioned that we would be creating a separate gaming review of the device, and here it is! We tested graphically demanding titles as well as popular games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty: Mobile, and League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Read more to find out how the Infinix GT 50 Pro performs in real-life gaming.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

For our first game, we have Mobile Legends. We played on the highest available settings, and as expected, the game ran smoothly with no noticeable stutters or frame drops.

Like most modern smartphones, this title performs effortlessly on the device. Even during team fights, we did not encounter any major frame drops, and the FPS remained consistent throughout gameplay.

FPS Results: around 134 to 143 FPS.

Temperature: 42.6°C (after 10 minutes).

League of Legends: Wild Rift

Next is League of Legends: Wild Rift. We played using the maximum settings with 120FPS enabled. In terms of performance, however, the device seemed to struggle with maintaining higher frame rates consistently.

Despite enabling the 120FPS option, the game only hovered around the 60FPS mark. Gameplay inside the Rift still felt smooth, but it would have been better if the device fully utilized its high refresh rate. The phone also felt warmer compared to Mobile Legends.

FPS Results: around 58 to 60 FPS.

Temperature: 41.1°C (after 16 minutes).

Call of Duty: Mobile

Third, we tested Call of Duty: Mobile. Our settings were configured to Medium graphics paired with 144FPS.

In our experience, this is one of the best games to play on the device. The shoulder triggers worked well, and the high frame rate helped deliver smoother aiming and gameplay.

We did not encounter noticeable stutters or frame drops, even during intense gunfights. There were a few minor stutters while navigating the home screen menus, but gameplay itself remained smooth.

FPS Results: around 134 to 144 FPS.

Temperature: 41.6°C (after 10 minutes).

Asphalt Legends

Next up is Asphalt Legends. We used the High graphics preset paired with 120FPS. Despite enabling 120FPS, the game never exceeded the 60FPS mark.

Still, performance remained smooth with no noticeable stutters or frame drops across different race locations. Visually, the game looked great, and we did not encounter rendering issues even during scenes with heavy visual effects.

FPS Results: consistent 60 FPS.

Temperature: 41.0°C (after 10 minutes).

Neverness to Everness

Moving on to graphically demanding games, first is Neverness to Everness. We used the Balanced preset with 60FPS enabled.

In terms of performance, the game ran surprisingly well for an open-world mobile title. There were occasional frame drops during exploration, while combat remained mostly smooth with only minor stutters. Overall, the performance was better than expected.

FPS Results: around 50 to 60 FPS.

Temperature: 43.0°C (after 8 minutes).

Zenless Zone Zero

Second is Zenless Zone Zero. We used Medium settings paired with 60FPS. Performance was decent overall, as the device handled combat fairly well despite occasional FPS dips and small stutters.

Even with these minor performance issues, gameplay still felt smooth most of the time. For players of ZZZ, the device is capable of handling both daily activities and endgame content.

FPS Results: around 36 to 50 FPS.

Temperature: 44.0°C (after 8 minutes).

Wuthering Waves

Lastly, we tested Wuthering Waves using Balanced settings with 60FPS enabled. This was one of the more surprising results.

Since the game is often played on PC, we did not expect such a smooth experience on mobile. The game showed minimal stutters and frame drops, with noticeable slowdowns only occurring when using ultimate skills. Overall, the device handled the game quite well.

FPS Results: around 33 to 60 FPS.

Temperature: 43.0°C (after 10 minutes).

Verdict

Overall, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is a solid gaming smartphone. It delivers strong performance for both competitive and graphically demanding titles.

In addition, the device offers several gaming-focused features that help enhance the overall experience. If you are looking for a gaming smartphone with capable performance across different game genres, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is worth considering.
