Facebook Messenger and Instagram are about to roll out new features on both iOS and Android apps. These features will surely help you organize and personalize your chat to your liking.
First off, Instagram DMs will have an update to send visual replies in messages. Recently, an update was released allowing users to send replies to messages. Now, another update will be coming as users will have the ability to reply with photos and videos. iOS users will be the first to receive the feature while Android users will follow.
The next feature for Instagram is that they added read receipts or “Seen State” in the chat list screen. This will make things easier as you don’t have to open individual messages just to see if the message has been seen or not.
On the other hand, Facebook Messenger has also placed new updates on its application. The first update is that you can record longer messages hands-free. It means that you don’t have to hold the record button as you have the tap-to-record option. Also, there is an Archived Chats folder that has been added to help clear out the user’s chat list.
Facebook Messenger also received two new themes which are Star Wars and Selena: The Series. These can be accessed in the app’s settings. Four new Messenger camera stickers have been added to spread awareness and support in connection to key issues that the Asian and Pacific Islanders are now facing.
