Activision officially announced that they will no longer work with voice actor Jeff Leach after a series of sexist comments surfaced. In a Twitter thread by YouTuber NitroLukeDX, it shows a video that has clips from Leach’s multiple streams as he gives off explicit, sexist and even hateful remarks towards women.

On May 8, Activision officially gave a statement to Charlielntel in connection to Leach’s remarks as they condemn and cut their ties with the actor. The studio stated that “Sexism has no place in our industry, our games or in society.” Activision condemned Leach’s actions and promised to provide a fun and safe experience to their players.

Jeff Leach originally streamed in Twitch which eventually he was banned after giving comments about streamer TheZombiUnicorn back in 2017. Since the ban, Leach switched to Facebook Gaming and has officially become a streamer there. As of the moment, Facebook Gaming has not released any comments nor statements regarding the issue. Also, TheZombiUnicorn has released a video in answer to the video regarding Leach and encouraged platforms and sponsors supporting Leach to take action.

Leach has not released any comments regarding the video nor to Activision’s decision to let him go. However, due to countless backlashes over the decision, he tweeted that “anyone who sends threatening messages is not representative of me or my community and I do not condone this is [sic] any way.” He also took to Twitter as he responds to the questions that the clips came from his former stream as he responds to troll in the chat. He was just using his experience “as a professional comic” to “destroy them,” Leach says.

Jeff Leach was the voice actor responsible for giving life to Simon “Ghost” Riley in 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Mobile.
