Canva has officially introduced offline editing.
With offline editing, users can work on their designs without an internet connection and sync changes when they are back online.
To use offline editing, users must first make their existing designs available offline while connected to the internet. Once downloaded, these designs can be edited for up to 14 days without reconnecting.
While offline, users can edit text, adjust layouts, resize elements, apply basic photo edits, use drawing tools, create additional pages, and upload images from their device.

Uploaded images will automatically sync to the user’s Canva account when an internet connection is restored.
Some features still require internet access, including Canva library templates and elements, AI-powered tools, collaboration features, video and audio uploads, downloading exports, and creating new designs from scratch.
Canva says all offline changes are saved locally on the device and will sync automatically once the user reconnects to the internet.

The feature is available on Chrome, Edge, and Safari desktop browsers, the Canva desktop app, Android devices, and supported mobile browsers. However, it is not currently supported on iOS and iPad apps, Firefox version 149 and newer, or private browsing modes.
