The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has been implementing new programs to make it easier and faster for drivers to renew their vehicle registration say hello to LTO Renewal Online. The drive-through renewal centers that opened in the south are a good example.
LTO Q1 2023 Single Ticketing System for Violations and Penalties
The LTO has announced something even more significant: the LTO Renewal Online through the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). On the other hand, car owners must keep a record of when they renew their registration through the LTMS portal.
If this is your first time using the LTMS portal, you can go to any LTO district office and let the staff do the work for you. The information about your car will be in the system the next time you renew your registration.
Make sure you have a Certificate of Coverage (COC) from your preferred insurance company and a motor vehicle inspection report from any accredited Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center before you start your online transaction (PMVIC).
