Out of the 50 million, 30,558,332 were PhilIDs. As of January 31, 2023, the PSA had delivered 23,256,884 PhilIDs, and as of February 2, 2023, the agency had given 19,703,727 ePhilIDs to registered individuals.

How to apply for a PhilSys National ID and track its progress

The PSA continued to work with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to speed up the printing and production of PhilIDs and with the Philippine Postal Corp. to speed up delivery.

The PSA created the ePhilID as part of its proactive efforts to enable registered individuals to immediately enjoy the benefits of being PhilSys-registered. Individuals can claim the ePhilID at PhilSys registration centers or receive it in plazas or directly at their homes.

The PSA also tested the downloadable ePhilID, which lets registered users get a PDF version of their ePhilID on their mobile devices. As of February 2, 2023, individuals had downloaded 440,784 ePhilIDs.

The PSA made the PhilID and the ePhilID to make service delivery more effortless, and both IDs work the same way and are valid. It made it easier for people to find and apply for social welfare programs and jobs, giving them access to essential social services and making it easier for them to get money.
