There are two new gaming phones launched by Xiaomi — Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. Right off the bat, let’s see the prices of the two devices:
The prices of the gaming accessories for the accompanying gaming prices are:
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 comes in Lighting Black, Silver, and Grey colors while the Black Shark 3 Pro is available in Phantom Black and Armor Grey. In China, customers can buy the devices as early as March 10th.
There’s a ton of features to cover here, so buckle up. Starting with the similarities, the design of Xiaomi’s gaming devices are now made to improve comfort while gaming. In terms of gaming itself, there are shoulder triggers on the right-hand side with 1.55mm key travel and a 300,000 lifting lifespan. They even include linear motors that provide more than 150 types of vibration effects depending on the game. As expected from a flagship gaming phone, the system is being cooled by a sandwiched liquid-cooling technology that’s claimed to improve the heat dissipation area by 100% and capacity by 50% versus the previous generation. Making sure that loading times are faster, Black Shark GameEngine and SolarCore intelligent game acceleration engine is present.
Black Shark 2 devices have made the switch to a 90Hz refresh rate. Further improving the experience is the 270Hz touch rate which is also claimed to be the world’s highest on a mobile phone. This feature allows for as low as 24ms response time. Adding to the shoulder triggers, pressure-sensitive screen triggers are still here. The third iteration brings four more sensitivity levels while increasing the real estate by 48% compared to last year’s models. The screen of Black Shark 3 Pro clocks in at a massive 7.1″ with QHD+ resolution, while the Black Shark 3 standard model is relatively large at 6.67″ but with FHD+ resolution. With that in mind, the pro model is even bigger and heftier than the Galaxy S20 Ultra which is already a massive phone of itself.
Both the Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 2 Pro was announced in the Philippines, but it was back in December. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait that long to experience Xiaomi’s best-performing devices.
