Exactly a year after Apple released their 2017 lineup, including the iPhone X flagship, the company is set to hold their annual grand launch this coming September. Now, just as Apple revealed the official date, a render of an iPhone XS has been leaked.
The leaked render came from the Apple-centric tech blog, 9to5mac. According to a new report from the blog, the iPhone XS is the successor to last year’s iPhone X with a 5.8″ AMOLED display. On the other hand, its bigger brother will arrive with a 6.5″ display, and will allegedly be called as the iPhone XS Plus.

Additional information from the source, the alleged iPhone XS will feature similar specs as its predecessor. It might be unveiled with dual rear cameras, stainless steel frames, glass backs, AMOLED screens, A12 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64/256/512GB of storage. Moreover, the new report states that the new iPhones will have gold color options as well, which isn’t an option for the iPhone X that the company released a year ago.
The special event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater inside Apple park in Cupertino, California on September 12 and will commence at 10 a.m. PDT.
