Last December 2020, vivo unleashed its Y52s equipped with a MediaTek DImensity 720 5G chipset. Now, it seems that it has made a silent launch with the same unit but using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor.
This will be officially named the vivo Y52s ti Edition. This smartphone will feature similar specs as its original counterpart and the only difference is its chipset. It will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate.

When it comes to camera setup, it will feature a dual-camera setup. On its rear, it will use a 48MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor. As for its front camera, it will feature an 8MP wide camera. It will be powered with a 5,000mAh battery capacity that is supported by 18W fast charging. The t1 edition will be using an Android 11-based Funtouch 10.5 operating system.
As for pricing, the t1 edition will be priced at ¥1,999 or $309 (₱14,880 est.) and this will be for the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There will be an 8GB RAM and 128GB configuration but it is not available for consumers yet and no details on how much would it be. For the Dimenstiy Edition, it will now come with an 8GB RAM and 256GB version and will be similarly priced as the t1 Edition. Both smartphones are now available for purchase in Jingdong. When it comes to international releases, we just have to wait for further announcements.
