After spending time with the device, here’s our full review.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra arrives with a refreshed design compared to its predecessor. It now features a premium combination of leather and aluminum on the rear, giving it a cleaner and more refined appearance.
The minimalist design makes the phone look elegant while still maintaining the premium feel you would expect from a flagship smartphone.
Speaking of premium, the device also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, making it durable enough for daily use and accidental exposure to water.
The phone weighs 236 grams, making it noticeably heavy. While the weight adds to its premium feel, you’ll want to be careful when using it while lying down, we definitely wouldn’t want this device falling on our face, right?
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
As expected from a flagship device, the display delivers excellent image quality. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and everything looks incredibly sharp. Whether you’re watching movies, streaming your favorite TV series, or simply browsing social media, the viewing experience is excellent.
We used the device for binge-watching several shows, and throughout our usage, the display remained immersive with no issues at all.
OPPO also claims up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to fully test this claim due to the rainy weather during our review period.

The rear cameras produce impressive results. Images are packed with detail, and even when zooming in, photos remain sharp and clean. Color reproduction is natural, highlights are well-controlled, and the dynamic range is excellent.
One thing we noticed is that the camera occasionally produces deeper shadows in certain scenes, but this doesn’t significantly affect the overall image quality.
Whether shooting during the day or at night, the Find X9 Ultra consistently delivers high-quality photos.
Low-light photography is equally impressive. Images retain good detail, colors remain accurate, and light sources are well-balanced without excessive flare or messy artifacts.
For selfies, we recommend using the standard Photo mode instead of Portrait mode. The front camera captures excellent detail with sharp colors, and even smaller facial features remain visible and well-defined.
For video recording, the rear cameras support up to 8K at 30fps, while the front camera can record up to 4K at 60fps, making it suitable for both casual creators and content professionals.
Powering the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Throughout our testing, the device handled everything we threw at it without any noticeable slowdowns. Whether browsing, multitasking, editing photos, or playing demanding games, the overall experience remained fast and smooth.
Gaming performance was equally enjoyable, with stable frame rates and responsive performance even during extended gaming sessions.
Benchmark Results
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra packs a massive 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired SUPERVOOC charging and 50W wireless charging.
As a casual user, the battery comfortably lasted us around two days on a single charge before needing to plug it in. Combined with the extremely fast charging speeds, battery anxiety is practically nonexistent with this device.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is priced at PHP 139,000 for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is easily one of the best flagship smartphones we’ve tested. It delivers excellent battery life, an outstanding camera system, a great display, flagship-level performance, and a premium design backed by solid build quality.
However, the only real downside is its a bit expensive.
However, if you’re looking for one of the most complete Android flagship experiences available today and budget isn’t a concern, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is definitely worth considering.
