Apple Launches ‘Apple Upgrade’ Leasing Program

Apple has launched Apple Upgrade, a new leasing program in the United States that lets eligible customers lease an iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, or iPad through Klarna.

Lease plans are available for 12 or 24 months for iPhone and Apple Watch, while Mac and iPad can be leased for 24 or 36 months.

Starting monthly prices are:

  • iPhone – USD 17.99/month (approximately PHP 1k/month)
  • Apple Watch – USD 11.99/month (approximately PHP 700/month)
  • iPad – USD 11.99/month (approximately PHP 700/month)
  • Mac – USD 24.99/month (approximately PHP 1.5k/month)

Customers can reduce their monthly payments by trading in an eligible Apple device. Apple Card users can also earn 3% Daily Cash on lease payments.

After the lease ends, customers can upgrade to a newer device, buy the leased device, or return it.

Apple also confirmed that the new program replaces the iPhone Upgrade Program and iPhone Payments in the United States.

Existing customers can switch to Apple Upgrade if eligible or choose other payment options, including Apple Card Monthly Installments or carrier financing.

The program is available on the Apple Store online, the Apple Store app, and Apple retail stores in the US and is currently available only to eligible customers in the United States.
