
Xiaomi is introducing a new flagship series in India. These units will be the Xiaomi Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. These Xiaomi units are going to be rebranded names for existing units like the Mi 11X is originally the Redmi K40 while it is also known globally as the POCO F3. The Mi 11X Pro on the other hand is the Redmi K40 Pro+.
Both models will be using a Snapdragon chipset with the Mi 11X having the 870 SoC while the Pro will be powered with the 888 chipsets. The Mi 11X will have 6GB of RAM while it will be featuring only one memory storage variation which is 128 GB UFS 3.1. As for the Pro version, it will be featuring 8GB RAM and can choose from 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.
When it comes to cameras, the two phones feature a triple camera setup on their rear. The difference comes with its main cameras. The Pro will be using a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor which is usually present in sub-premium units coming from Xiaomi and Redmi. As for the vanilla version, this unit will be using a 48MP Sony IMX82 sensor. When it comes to the other two cameras, the two phones will be utilizing an 8MP ultrawide camera and 5MP telephoto lens. The front camera for the two phones uses a 20MP shooter.
Another similarity for these units is their 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen. It also features a 120Hz refresh rate and has True Tone that adjusts the color temperature of the screen basing on the ambient light similar to the True Tone of Apple.
The battery capacity for both phones is 4,520mAh which is supported by a 33W fast wired charging. This is also supported with 5G network connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used for security. The Mi 11X devices will be backed with an Android 11-based MIUI 12 OS.
The Mi 11X will be coming in two memory configurations which are also priced differently. There will be a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant which is priced at INR 29,999 (PHP19,410 est.) while the 8GB RAM and 128GB version will cost INR 31,999 (PHP20,700 est.).
On the other hand, the Mi 11X Pro will also come in two memory configurations which differ in price as well. The 8GB RAM and 128GB variant will cost INR 39,999 (PHP 25,880 est.) and the 8GB RAM and 256GB will have a price tag of INR 41,999 (PHP27,175 est.).
When it comes to releasing, the Mi 11X will be available in Amazon India starting on April 27 through flash sales. The Mi 11X Pro will be available for pre-order on the 27th of April also in Amazon India while deliveries will commence on May 6, 2021.
