Moto One 5G Ace: Snapdragon 750G, 5000mAh, HDR-Capable Display for P19K

Motorola recently announced a slew of smartphones ranging from cheap to mid-range. None of which were as expensive as the Moto Once 5G Ace, however. For $399(~Php19,000), the company’s new 5G mid-range phone caters to the US market and Canada and goes up against the iPhone SE (2020), which by the way, is more powerful but lacks the new mobile standard connection.

Available in silver color only, the One 5G Ace comes equipped with Snapdragon 750G that’s paired with either 4GB/64GB or 6GB/128GB. Luckily, there’s still an option to expand via a dedicated microSD slot, and the headphone jack still lives on.

The squared-camera module on the back houses three sensors, featuring 48MP f1.7 wide, 8MP f2.2 ultrawide, and 2MP f2.4 macro. There’s EIS for stabilization, but video recording still goes up to 4K@30fps. On the front is a 16MP f2.2 selfie camera that’s housed inside a centered-pinhole cutout.

The display of the One 5G Ace is one of its few highlights, thanks to a large 6.7″ screen that supports FHD+ and HDR10 playback. A 5000mAh battery powers the device and supports 15W fast charging through USB-C, but Motorola is shipping a 10W charger only. Boohoo.

In the Philippines, Motorola is selling the Moto G 5G Plus with Snapdragon 765G and 90Hz display for only Php16,990(~$353).
