As we get closer to the Samsung Unpacked for the 2021 Galaxy S Series, more and more signs point out to the Note Series finally bidding goodbye after 11 years.
According to the frequent leaker, Max Weinbach, there are seven “flagships” to expect next year:
Three of them support the exclusive-Note feature, which is the S-Pen. Based on earlier rumors, the S21 Ultra will come with an S-pen for the second time for the series. Of course, we expect the other two to be the standard S21 and the S21 Plus.
With no outstanding feature to separate itself from the upcoming Galaxy S Series, the Galaxy Note 20 Series seems to be the last hurrah of the business-centric, pen-wielding device. Stepping up to the plate, however, is the Galaxy Z Fold Series.
There’s no word yet regarding specs and upgrades that the Fold 3 will bring, but the Z Fold FE is an interesting product. Samsung, apparently, will try to make its folding device significantly less expensive. Additionally, the company only has the Z Flip 3 to market.
Samsung appears to be in a transition phase next year and could be the mark of a historical turning point for the company.
