Samsung has launched a bunch of phones this week and one of them is the Galaxy A41. If you think you’ve heard of the phone before that’s because it has launched in Japan last month. But unlike the Japanese variant, the global variant misses out on IP68 water and dust resistance rating. As a result, what you get is a regular mid-range phone that seems underpowered versus the competition. The price of Samsung Galaxy A41 is €299(~P16.5K) in Germany and will be available in May 2020.
The Galaxy A41 is decently specced out, thanks to 6.1″ FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen, 48MP triple cameras, and 25MP selfie camera. The battery is rated 3500mAh which is below the 4000mAh standard, but at least, it comes with 15W fast adaptive charging. There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner and audio jack. However, the listed dual 2.0GHz + Hexa 1.7GHz CPUs indicate the Snapdragon 675 chipset. Although power efficient, the raw performance is lacking especially in gaming.
