Samsung Galaxy A50 has been regarded as the most popular and successful mid-range phone from the South Korean company, thanks to the value it offers. After that, the company disappointed the people with the Galaxy A51 as it offered minimal upgrades. But now that the Galaxy A51 5G gets the premium mid-range Exynos 980 SoC, Samsung’s best mid-range phone is now powerful than ever for $499.99(~P25K). The device will become available around the summer.
Much like the Galaxy A71 5G, the Galaxy A51 5G retains the majority of the features of the Galaxy A51. This means the same Super AMOLED, 48MP quad-cam, 4500mAh battery, and 32MP selfie camera. Apart from the chipset, the design on the back is of two-tone prismatic finish. And given the addition of a 5G modem, the device is now thicker at 8.7mm and heavier at 187g. The Galaxy A51 5G can be had in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube White, and Prism Cube Pink.
Samsung’s most popular mid-range lineup is, for sure, participating in a jam-packed market. It’s going to be interesting to see if people would rather stay with the company and its One UI or opt for other competing phones.
