Adding to the excitement, Xiaomi is taking the retail experience up a notch by constructing dedicated 2S stores across China, totaling an estimated 60-70 stores initially. These will serve as exclusive hubs for both sales and service of their EVs, signaling an imminent release of the SU7’s official pricing.
Slated for deliveries in Q2 2024, the SU7 made a splash at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Priced between 250,000-370,000 Yuan (PHP1.9M – PHP2.8M), Xiaomi aims to tap into its massive user base of 20 million premium smartphone users in China to kickstart sales. By July, the production target is set to hit 10,000 units per month.
While an unofficial hint pointed to a March 28th launch, Xiaomi is yet to make an official announcement. Adding to the intrigue, leaked images reveal new color options for the SU7, providing a sneak peek into the style choices awaiting prospective buyers.
