Aside from the Redmi Note 11T Pro series of smartphones, Xiaomi also launched its latest RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition lineup in China, the RedmiBook Pro 14 and 15 Ryzen Edition.
First is the RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen, sporting a 14-inch display with a 2.5K (2560 x 1600) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB, 300 nits brightness, and DC dimming.
Under the hood, it comes with AMD’s 6000 series processors up to the Ryzen 7 6800H CPU paired with the AMD RDNA2 integrated graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage as standard.
The 2022 Ryzen Edition laptop also has a 56Wh battery with 100W Type-C GaN fast charging, and comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. I/O ports include 2 USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Other features are a fingerprint on the power key, 2x 2W speakers with DTS Audio, a full-size backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel, a Travel Mylar trackpad, and a 720p webcam. It measures 315.6×220.4×15.9mm and weighs 1.45kg.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen, on the other hand, boasts an aviation-grade aluminum-alloy build to withstand wear and tear. It also flaunts a 15.6-inch display with 3.2k (3200 × 2000) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB, 400 nits brightness, an Ambient light sensor for auto brightness adjustment, and DC dimming.
Inside, it is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor paired with an RTX 2050 GPU, standard 16GB of LPDDR5 6400MHz Dual Channel RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and a 72Wh battery capacity. It boots Windows 11 Home
Moreover, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. Ports include 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 for charging and data transmission, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen1, and 1x HDMI 2.0. Other features of the RedmiBook Pro 15 include a full-size backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel, a Travel Mylar trackpad, a 720p webcam, dual 2W stereo speakers with DTS Audio, and a fingerprint scanner on the power key.
