Tech giant Huawei recently announced four new MateBook laptops in China sporting 12th-gen Intel processors, the MateBook 16s, MateBook D16, MateBook 14 2022, and MateBook D14 2022.
Let’s start with the Huawei MateBook 16s. This laptop flaunts a 16-inch touchscreen IPS LCD panel with 2520 x 1680 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits of brightness, 1500:1 contrast, supports 100% sRGB, and comes calibrated with an average Delta E of below 1.
Inside, it comes with up to 12th-gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1TB NVMe PCIe SD, and an 84 Wh battery. Other features include WiFI AX, USB-C Thunderbolt 4, a fingerprint scanner on the power key, and a 135W charger in the box.
Next is the Huawei MateBook D16, sporting a 16-inch IPS 16:10 screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 300 nits maximum brightness, 100% sRGB coverage, up to 12th-gen Intel Core i7-12700H CPU, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, 512GB NMVe PCIe SSD, and a 60Wh battery. It also has WiFI AX, a fingerprint scanner on the power key, and a 65W charger in the box. This laptop does not support touch functionality.
There’s also the Huawei MateBook 14 2022, which features a 14-inch IPS display with 2160 x 1440 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits maximum brightness, 1500:1 contrast, and touch functionality.
Powering it is up to 12th-gen Intel Core i7-1260P CPU, paired with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, and a 56Wh battery. It also includes WiFI AX, a fingerprint scanner on the power key, and a 65W charger in the box.
Lastly, we have the MateBook D14 2022, which has a 14-inch IPS 16:9 screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 100% sRGB coverage, 300 nits brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The laptop is equipped with up to 12th-gen Intel Core i7-1240P CPU, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, WiFi AX, a fingerprint scanner on the power key, and a 56Wh battery.
