In the race for the best next-gen console, Microsoft Xbox appears to be gaining the lead as the company announces that it’ll support all previous Xbox games — dating from the Xbox to the Xbox One — at Xbox Series X and Series S launch. What’s even better is Xbox teased older games will “look and play better” on their latest consoles.
Microsoft, however, was quick to point out that a “handful” games that require Kinect won’t be playable on the new consoles. Regardless, you can still use a physical disc copy or buy a digital copy to play the older games.
For anyone who hasn’t built a PC yet nor bought a console for a long time, you may be enticed to get either the Series X or S as you’re bound to get, perhaps, the widest available game library yet.
Both Xbox Series X and Series S will become available on November 10, with a later date for the Philippines release.
