Thanks to Amazon France which “accidentally” revealed the official price and release date of PlayStation 5(PS5), we now have an idea how much Sony’s next-gen console will cost. According to the now-edited listing, PS5 Regular Edition might retail for €499(~P28,000) in Europe. Well-known leaker @BenGeskin first spotted the pricing, however, Amazon was able to fix the listing before he got to see the price of the PS5 Digital Edition. But according to his tweet, the non-Bluray drive option could be priced at €399(~P22,500). As for when the PS5 will be available, it’s said to be November 20, 2020.
PS5 is Sony’s next-gen console that boasts a speedy SSD storage and 8K-capable specification. While the storage of the PS5 was not mentioned in the listing, it’s expected for the base model to sport 1TB.
