POCO has been teasing its next global online launch event that’ll happen on March 22nd, 8 PM (GMT +8). Aside from the tagline “When Power Meets Speed,” the other thing POCO confirmed, via its official invitation, is the announcement of two new smartphones.
For the past few days, we’ve been reporting leaks regarding the POCO X3 Pro, a hotly anticipated phone expected to introduce the first Snapdragon 860 chipset on the market. Although it’s not the much-awaited POCO X3 NFC successor, the X3 Pro packs nearly the same spec sheet as the cheaper device but with more processing chops and a slightly new design.
As for the other phone, rumors suggest that POCO might be introducing the global version of the Redmi K40 as POCO F3. To refresh, the K40 delivers high-end features, such as Snapdragon 870 5G, 120Hz AMOLED, and up to 12GB RAM. In China, the device starts at CNY1999(~Php15,000) for the 6GB/128GB model.
