YouTube channel ChilledCow is widely recognized with the cool and cozy soundtracks it showcases along with its iconic image of a girl sitting and working on her desk. She has now officially rebranded her channel into “Lofi Girl.” This was announced Thursday along with her sixth anniversary of the channel.
In a Tweet, Lofi Girl stated that it was one tough decision to make but what drove the decision was that the name ChilledCow was no longer reflective and needs a new one. Lofi Girl also assures her followers that the content would not change but will eventually “pave the way for many exciting projects for you all in the future!” She then continues that the channel will always be about music, art, and positivity only.
The change can now officially be viewed as the YouTube Channel is now named Lofi Girl while Facebook and Twitter have already changed to @lofigirl. Although the Instagram account still has the name @chilledcow_yt but eventually in time it would be changed. The contents of the YouTube channel remain unchanged and still play a live stream with chill beats to relax to.
