The Division movie has found its director by the name of Rawson Marshall Thurber (Skyscraper). He will be joined by Ellen Shanman (The Hidden Girl, Tiger ^ Bunny) as its scriptwriter along with Thurber.
Now, Ubisoft has reported the Netflix will be the home for the said movie. As of now, the only cast members confirmed for the movie are Jake Gyllenhaal (The Nightcrawler) and Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game). The Division is set in a near-future where a virus was spread through paper money on Black Friday. Come Christmas, the City of New York has been left under the desolation of famine and death. Now, a group of civilians who have been trained in situations like this must rise up and save on what is left of humanity.
As of now, there is no news on when the movie would start production and when it would be available to stream.
