At the Summer Game Fest 2026, Sony has revealed the 16 upcoming titles to the PlayStation 5.
Among the highlights of the reveal are: Final Fantasy VII Revelation, which will continue the saga against Sephiroth with expanded exploration and combat confirmed for 2027; and Resident Evil Veronica, which is a remake of the 2000s Resident Evil Code: Veronica is also coming in 2027 with modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics.
Ubisoft also unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launching on July 9, featuring Woodkid’s reimagined sea shanty. Remedy showcased Control Resonant, a paranatural adventure set in Manhattan launching September 24, while studio That’s No Moon introduced its cinematic stealth debut, Crossfire.
Additional major announcements included gen Atlas, a new open-world title from the minds behind Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and Guild Wars 3, which will debut on consoles with a fall 2027 beta. Rounding out the lineup are Gundam Rogue Orbit, Lords of the Fallen II, and the Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor DLC, which expands Enzo Favara’s story on August 14.
The release calendar also features The Blood of Dawnwalker on September 3, RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer on October 6. Additionally, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds teased an ambitious slate of crossover DLCs featuring massive franchises like TMNT, Avatar, Godzilla, and Evangelion.
Lastly, a new trailer for Swords of Legends, a single-player action RPG, has been revealed, while Stranger Than Heaven gets a January 15, 2027 launch, featuring an action-adventure game spanning decades of eras across japan.
