HUAWEI has offially unveiled the successor to last year’s nova Y73, the HUAWEI nova Y74.

The HUAWEI nova Y74 sports a 6.67‑inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 850 nits. It highlights durability, featuring a SGS 5‑Star Drop Resistance certification.
Under the hood, its processor has yet to be revealed by the brand, although it is rumored to be a Kirin 8000‑series processor. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There’s also a 6,620mAh silicon‑carbon battery capacity with 40W SuperCharge wired fast charging support.
HUAWEI claims that it can last up to 24.9 hours of online video playback or around 48 hours of voice calls on a full charge. Its adapter is said to boost the charging by 53% in 30 minutes and offers 5 hours of video playback with just 15 minutes of charging.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP main rear sensor with digital zoom, while upfront is an 8MP selfie camera.
A customazible X button has also been added, which allows user to configure it to open the everyday feature or shortcuts seamlessly.
The nova Y74 runs on EMUI 12 out of the box. Connectivity features include WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS.
