When the mobile world was brimming of pop-up selfie cameras, Samsung was nowhere to be found. During that time, the South Korean company was busy inventing its Infinity-O, Infinity-V, and Infinity-U display notches. But a year later, Samsung’s next phone is apparently going to sport the dying feature. Based on a new leak, the pop-up Samsung device reveals interesting features. While no one knows the category the device will fall into, we feel like it could be either the Galaxy M or Galaxy A Series.
@OnLeaks and @Pigtou have collaborated to provide us a crisp full render of the phone.
Starting from the back, the glossy finish curves to the sides which already suggests a sleek design language. There’s a fingerprint sensor together with the triple-camera setup. Upfront reveals a fullscreen display with a relatively large bezel on the bottom portion. The screen is said to be 6.5″ which puts it at the same territory as the Realme 6i and Realme 5i. It’s one hefty phone, too, at 9.2mm which could possibly mean at least 4500mAh battery. At the bottom of the device is USB-C port with the speaker grille while at the top is the pop-up selfie camera. Yes, there’s no headphone jack here. We usually see the omittance of this feature on premium mid-range to flagship phones. With that in mind, there’s a chance that this Samsung phone might be somewhere around that category.
