Add January 14 to your calendar as Samsung Galaxy S21 series is about to go official on that day, according to reports that stem from the biggest Samsung mobile experience store in India. The Opera House store in Bengaluru said that it’d start selling devices on January 29, as this will give them time to rack up units during leeway time. And unsurprisingly, pre-orders with deposits have started already.
As stated by XDA Developers, the launch day falls to the final day of the virtual CES event. The store also confirmed that India would get the Exynos 2100 variant, not the Snapdragon 888. It’s highly likely that the rest of the world that received Exynos versions in the past, including the Philippines, will receive the same treatment. However, early rumors claim that 2100 shows better performance and efficiency than the previous generation.
Nevertheless, we’ll get to know the real capability of the Exynos 2100 once the Galaxy S21 debuts.
