Samsung Galaxy Book S (2020) has been enhanced to meet your computing needs by adding the latest Intel processor. It comes in two variants — 256GB storage priced at 1,129 Euros (~Php 63,200) in Europe while the 512GB version costs £999 (~Php 62,200) in the UK. Appearing in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray colors, the laptop is said to be released on June 12 in the United Kingdom. No word yet on a local release date.
The major upgrade that can be seen is its new Intel Core processor with Intel Hybrid Technology that runs on a Windows 10 operating system. This marks as the first-ever device that utilizes Intel’s Foveros 3D stacking technology and a hybrid CPU architecture. Meaning, the new Galaxy Book S intelligently balances multiple high-performing processes during use while conserving battery when not in use. The display features a 13.3″ FHD touchscreen TFT LCD. Furthermore, both storage variants are paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and can be expanded via MicroSD slot that allows up to 1TB.
Other noticeable features that can be seen is its backlit keyboard, fingerprint sensor via Windows Hello, 1MP camera, plus the AKG-tuned quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos Support — all powered by 42Wh battery. On the connectivity side, the Galaxy Book S (2020) has Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, an audio jack, 2x USB Type-C, and a multi-card reader.
