Roblox has announced several new features for players and creators at its 2026 Roblox Developers Conference (RDC).
The company said creators will soon be able to release their games as standalone apps on mobile, PC, and consoles.
Players will also be able to access games directly through Chrome without installing the Roblox app by the end of 2026.
The game is also expanding its creation tools with Build, which allows users to create games using prompts, and Scene Generator, which can generate game scenes from text prompts and reference images.
The company also introduced Roblox Wallet, which will allow eligible US creators to receive earnings in real currency and transfer funds to external accounts. The service is expected to expand globally in 2027.
Roblox is also updating its game discovery system and expanding the Moments tab, where players can watch gameplay clips and launch games directly.
