Reno5 4G Price Leaks

It’s no secret both Reno5 4G and Reno5 5G will debut in the Philippines this February. In fact, early listings of pre-order on Facebook Marketplace can be found until now. While OPPO has remained quiet about this, one of the listings has revealed the upcoming price of the Reno5 4G, with some news about the 5G model.

Looks like Reno5 4G will replace the Reno4 that launched last August for the same price of Php18,990. Nearly all listings require a Php1,000 downpayment for reservation, and those who will do will get a free smartwatch worth around Php3,000.

Comparing the two Reno devices, Reno5 4G brings back the back-to-back glass design but gets rids of the dual-pinhole selfie for a single cutout for the 44MP camera. There are four cameras, still, on the back, but with a 64MP sensor already. Though the performance stays the same, thanks to the Snapdragon 720G, the upcoming phone is now running on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. What’s more, the AMOLED screen gets the 90Hz refresh rate treatment for a smoother and faster experience. Lastly, the battery capacity and charging rate have been upgraded to 4310mAh and 50W, respectively.

As for the Reno4 5G, apparently, it’ll come at a later date but with no official price yet. If that’s not an indication of a more expensive price tag, we don’t know what is.
