The vanilla Note 9 will be available first on the official Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee starting May 27 (tomorrow, 12 AM) while the Note 9 Pro will go on sale on June 4 (12 AM).
Like the Redmi Note 9s, Xiaomi is offering a P500 discount to those who will purchase the base model of either of the devices. To refresh your mind, the Redmi Note 9 features Helio 85 chipset which is a huge upgrade over the Redmi Note 8, especially in gaming. The battery is rated 5020mAh with support for 18W fast charging. The 48MP AI quad-cameras can shoot in 4K Movie Mode and Night Mode 2.0 while the 13MP selfie camera is housed within the 6.53″ DotDisplay. Covered in Gorilla Glass 5, the Redmi Note 9s comes in Interstellar Grey, Aurora blue, Glacier White.
As for the Redmi Note 9 Pro, it comes in Interstellar Grey, Tropical Green, Glacier White. It’s powered by a more efficient Snapdragon 720g alongside 30W fast charging that goes from 0% to 50% in just less than 30 minutes. The cameras get upgraded, too, with 64MP AI quad cameras and 16MP selfie camera. You can even do selfie slow-motion. The large DotDisplay clocks in at 6.67″ while the back features a symmetrical design with a square-shaped camera module.
