realme Q3 Pro with 120Hz AMOLED, Dimensity 1100 5G, 64MP Priced at ¥1599(~₱12K)

While we did expect realme to launch the Q3 Series yesterday, what we did not expect is the aggressive pricing it comes with, at least in China. realme Q3 Pro, the top-end model of the Q3 Series, only starts at ¥1599(~₱11,900) for the 6/128GB variant. The 8/128GB and 8/256GB come with prices of ¥1799(~₱13,400) and ¥1999(~₱14,800), respectively. The Q3 Pro will become available for sale starting April 29th. But for the specs and features, here’s what you need to know. Take note that the listed Philippine pricing is not the official price of the phone in case it launches locally.

realme Q3 Pro is available in three colors; black, blue, and a yellow color that absorbs light in the day and glows in the night. Much like the realme 8 Series, there’s a huge branding of “dare to leap” on the back of all three colors.

The front panel of the Q3 Pro is equally as impressive as the back since it’s sporting a 6.43″ FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED from Samsung. It further supports 360Hz touch sampling rate, 4096 levels of brightness adjustment, 1200 nits peak brightness in HDR, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. With that kind of display combo, we’re assuming it’s the same panel found on the POCO F3. But unlike that phone, the Q3 Pro is using an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood of the Q3 Pro is the Dimensity 1100 6nm SoC with dual-5G capability. realme will probably market the phone as a gaming device, thanks to the large vapor cooling chamber with stainless steel and copper inside. The company claims that it reduces the temperature up to 15°C.

The camera of the Q3 Pro is headlined by a 64MP Sony IMX692 main sensor. That, coupled with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. The front camera uses a 16MP selfie housed inside the top-left pinhole cutout.

For the rest of the specs, the Q3 Pro is packing a Tactile Engine Linear vibration motor for a “brand new 4D vibration,” 30W fast charging for the 4500mAh battery, and Dolby Atmos-certified stereo speaker.

In case the realme Q3 Pro makes its way out of China, it’s probably going to be called under a different moniker. However, the likeliness of that happening is close to zero.
