Apparently, Realme is about to launch the successor to the Realme 6i introduced a few months ago. Dubbed as Realme 7i, thanks to a leakster, we pretty much have an idea of what the phone will pack in terms of the spec sheet and features. On top of that, the upcoming budget phone is set to be announced on September 17th alongside Realme 7 in Indonesia.
Realme 7i sports the same 6.5″ FHD+ LCD screen that debuted since Realme 5i. However, much like most high-end phones today, it’s getting the 90Hz refresh rate treatment. At the core is the Snapdragon 662, which we assume to be a step up when compared to SD 665. The chipset is also paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. One of the biggest upgrades, however, is the 64MP main sensor, the first for the series. Alongside that massive camera is an 8MP ultrawide and a couple of 2MP lenses. The battery is rated 5000mAh with support for 18W fast charging. The fingerprint scanner is on the back, and the color finish of the device comes in glossy green and light blue-ish.
Given the upgrades, it seems like Realme 7i might cost around P9,990 if it’ll ever arrive in the Philippines. To give you an idea of how we arrived at that number, Realme 5i retailed for P6,990. With the introduction of Realme 6i with better cameras and chipset, the price bumped to P7,990 for the base model and up to P9,990 for the 4GB/128GB. There’s a chance that the Realme 5i phases out while 6i drops in pricing. At the same time, Realme 7i will take over the highest price point. These are just speculations, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Looks like it will be matching the Poco X3 NFC, although mahirap tapatan ang pricing nun. Also stuck ang Realme sa 90hz refresh rate, nasa 120mhz na Poco X3.
