Presumed OnePlus Nord Lite With Snapdragon 690 Appears on Geekbench

While we’re only a little over a week away from the official release of OnePlus Nord, the company’s “new beginnings” into the affordable smartphone market, it appears that the Nord will be a lineup. Based on a recent Geekbench listing, an OnePlus phone with model number BE2028 is presumed to be the Nord Lite. Apparently, it’s using the recently announced Snapdragon 690 based on 8nm and carries a 5G modem.

What’s more, the phone is listed running on Android 10 with 6GB RAM. Provided that the trend today is having Lite or Pro version of a device, it’s not surprising to see Nord Lite as a possibility. The Snapdragon 690 features Adreno 619 GPU and offers Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, and support for FHD+ displays with 120Hz and QHD+ with 60Hz. We doubt that the Nord Lite will feature anything lower than 90Hz, though. Also, 5G connectivity is in tow. Whether Nord Lite is real or not remains to be seen. But if it will be, Nord Lite could be priced well below $400(~P20,000) to separate itself from the Nord that will cost up to $499(~P25,000). For now, what we know is that the OnePlus Nord will launch in the Philippines as well.
