007 is playing Doctor Fate. Okay, let me clear that up. James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is playing the DC character Kent Neilson, also known as Doctor Fate. He would star opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam movie. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter and confirmed by Deadline.
Brosnan would be playing Doctor Fate, one of the founding members of the Justice of Society which will make its debut as well in the movie. He would be joined along with other heroes such as Atom Smasher who would be played by Noah Centineo, Hawkman played by Aldis Hodge, and Cyclone played by actress Quintessa Swindell.
This will be the second film that will be produced by New Line Cinema next to SHAZAM! Jaume Collet-Serra will be its director and would be accompanied by The Rock himself as the titular anti-hero. The movie is set to enter production three weeks from now which was teased by The Rock in his Instagram account.
