On the 14th of December 2022, the Pag-IBIG Fund celebrated its 42nd anniversary by formally releasing the Virtual Pag-IBIG Mobile App to deliver its services to its members on a more personal level.
In a message left as a recording for the Pag-IBIG Fund, former President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. acknowledged the Pag-IBIG Fund’s achievements over the years and voiced his approval of the organization’s introduction of its official mobile app.
Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), also the head of the 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, has assured members that Pag-IBIG Fund will continue to make use of information technology to improve its processes and services.
During the unveiling, the Chief Executive Officer of the Pag-IBIG Fund, Marilene Acosta, demonstrated the agency’s mobile app, highlighting its user-friendly interface and various service capabilities.
Members can now: 
- acquire their Pag-IBIG Membership ID number
- view the status of their Housing or Short-Term Loans
- make online payments
- create a Virtual Pag-IBIG account
All of these by simply utilizing their smartphones and the Virtual Pag-IBIG Mobile App.
In addition, once our members have their very own Virtual Pag-IBIG accounts. They will be able to access not only their savings but also their annual dividends. The balance of their loans as well as the dates on which they are due, and records of their payments. In addition, further functionality will be added to the mobile app over the next few months.
The Virtual Pag-IBIG Mobile Application can be downloaded from both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store. Since the beta version of the smartphone app was made available in August of this year, more than 750,000 people have downloaded it.
